What a group trip includes
Every trip lists what's included before you pay: your stays (hotels, homestays or a camp, with the room sharing), the meals written on the trip, transport from the start point and back, and the local team, a trip captain or a licensed guide depending on the place. In Bhutan the permits and the Sustainable Development Fee are included too. Flights and trains to the start point are not included, so you can book the fare that suits you.
Joining from Bengaluru, Kolkata, Delhi or Mumbai
Meghalaya group trips start and end at Guwahati airport or railway station, and the Bhutan trip at Bagdogra airport. There are direct flights to Guwahati from Bengaluru, Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata, and to Bagdogra from the major metros. Each trip page gives the pick-up and drop times, so you know which flight to book.
Solo travellers, couples and friends
People join on their own, as a couple or with a friend, from cities across India. A group trip is the easiest way to see Meghalaya or Bhutan on your own without planning every day, and a good way to meet people who like the same kind of travel. The best months for each place
Meghalaya is dry and clear from October to December, with the Cherry Blossom Festival in November. Bhutan has its clearest skies from October to December, and spring colour from March to May. Nagaland's Hornbill Festival runs from 1 to 10 December. Sikkim and Darjeeling are best from March to May and October to December.
Group trip or private trip?
A group trip has fixed dates and one price per person for everyone. If the dates don't suit you, a private trip gives you your own car and your own dates, priced per person for 2, 4 or 6 travellers.

Pay the balance by the date on your confirmation. Hotels, transport and permits are confirmed to you before you travel.
